Tried meal prepping Sundays vs. just cooking extra on Tuesdays
Spent a whole Sunday making 5 days of meals. Took 4 hours and I hated my life by noon. Now I just double whatever I'm making on Tuesday night. 15 extra minutes. Same amount of food. Huge difference. Anyone else find batch cooking exhausting compared to just making bigger portions?

4 hours on a Sunday?! Girl, that is a whole shift of unpaid labor. I would have thrown the entire kitchen away. I get so hangry and bored stirring the same pot for more than 30 minutes. Cooking extra on Tuesday sounds like actual common sense, I bet your kitchen is way less of a war zone too.

Is it really that deep though? Like, I get that 4 hours on a Sunday sounds like a lot, but some people genuinely enjoy the process and the payoff of having a whole week sorted. @johnson.faith called it a "shift of unpaid labor," but it's not like anyone's clocking in for a boss, you know? I've done both ways and honestly, it depends on the week. Sometimes I'm fine spending a Sunday afternoon with a podcast and a cutting board, other times I'd rather just toss in extra chicken on a Tuesday. It's not a one-size-fits-all thing, and people act like it's some huge moral decision.
