Appreciation post: Picked the electric mower over gas and it actually worked out

My old gas mower finally died after 8 years, so I had to choose between another gas one or go electric. I went with a corded Ryobi for $120 because I didn't want to deal with battery costs. First cut on my tiny lawn in Chicago took 30 minutes and no pull cord hassle. Has anyone else made the switch and found it worth it for a small yard?

Honestly the cord is not that bad once you figure out a pattern. I just loop it over my shoulder and go end to end so it stays behind me the whole time.

ABSOLUTELY man, that cord is way less annoying than yanking a pull cord twenty times.
