Question about using a 2x4 vs. a 2x6 for a new shed's floor frame

I mean I read somewhere that a 2x6 frame is way better for holding up heavier stuff. It just doesn't sag as much over time, especially if you're putting tools or a lawnmower in there. Maybe it's just me but I'd spend the extra bit for the 2x6.

Wesley385 is right about the 2x6 being stronger. That extra inch of wood makes a big difference for heavy loads. It's worth the upgrade if you want the shed to last.

Oh for sure. I went with 2x6s on my own shed floor joists and it's been solid, no bounce at all even with my riding mower in there.
