That $30 paint sprayer I bought changed my mind about rolling
I spent 4 hours rolling my living room ceiling last weekend, and it looked awful... streaks everywhere. So I grabbed a cheap Wagner sprayer from Home Depot for $30 and did the same job in 45 minutes. The finish is way smoother too, no roller texture at all. Has anyone else switched to spraying and just can't go back to rolling main walls?

Man, @val949 I tried spraying once and accidentally painted my dog, never went back to rolling either.

Not @val949, but that dog incident is a classic. I swore off spraying after I tried to paint a fence and ended up with a Rottweiler that looked like a dalmatian for a week. He was not amused and neither was my wallet for the vet visit. Rollers are boring but safe, man.

Honestly I feel your pain on the ceiling roller disaster. I spent a whole afternoon on mine with a roller and it looked like a bad texture job from the 70s. That $30 sprayer sounds like a lifesaver.
