Stayed at a cabin in Gatlinburg and the owner had a genius fix for a squeaky floorboard
It was this old rental place, and the floor in the hallway groaned like crazy. The owner just drilled a tiny hole at an angle into the seam between two boards and injected a bit of wood glue with a syringe, then put a pin nail to hold it while it dried. Said he learned it from his dad. It was dead quiet after that. Anyone know if this works on laminate flooring too, or is it just for real wood?

Wouldn't that just crack laminate?

Oh yeah @the_faith nailed it, I did the same trick on my laminate after a floor guy told me about it. Just gotta make sure you use wood glue sparingly so it doesn't expand and crack the board.

Tried that on my laminate floor and it actually held up fine. What kind of squeak do you have?
