My deck boards warped 2 months after staining, did I skip a step?
I stained my pressure treated deck back in May with a semi-transparent stain. Looked perfect for about 6 weeks. Now the boards on the south side are curling up at the edges, like a shallow U shape. I let the wood dry for 3 weeks after a good rain before staining. Maybe I didn't wait long enough? Or is this just normal for pine in direct sun around Lincoln? Has anyone else dealt with this and actually fixed it without tearing the whole deck up?
