Ugh, all that hanging clutter just makes the whole kitchen look messier to me.

You feel that way too? My kitchen has so many utensils and pans hanging up it drives me crazy, and it's impossible to keep any of it from looking dusty. I finally took down a whole rack because it just felt like visual noise every time I walked in. Clear counters always make the whole room feel ten times cleaner to me.

Yeah I bought one of those fancy hanging racks thinking it would look so organized. Turns out it just gave all my spatulas a dedicated place to collect a fine layer of cooking grease. Took it down after a month because I was basically seasoning my tools just by existing in the room.
