Had to pick between a manual and electric caulking gun for a bathroom job

I went with the manual one because it was $12 cheaper at Lowe's, but after squeezing out three tubes of silicone my hand was cramping up by the end of the day. Anyone else regret skimping on the cheap option for a big caulking project?

Man, that's the story of my life right there. It's like how you buy the cheap lawnmower and then spend twice as much time fixing it as you would have just buying the decent one from the start. The worst part is your hand hurts and you're still stuck with a half-done job staring at you. I've learned the hard way that sometimes paying a little more upfront saves you a lot of pain and time later on. It's a tradeoff that never seems worth it until you're already committed.

Sure, but I've had cheap stuff last years with a little TLC while nice stuff broke just as fast.

Oh man, that hand cramp is real. I bought the cheap manual one for a whole basement and by tube two I was holding the thing with both hands just to get through it.
