Hit 200 sheetrock screws in 10 minutes flat and felt like a superhero
I was hanging drywall in my basement and nailed 200 screws in 10 minutes with my impact driver. Has anyone else hit a random speed milestone on a project that made you feel way too proud?

And it's funny how the little stuff gives you that same rush as winning big at something.

Totally get that, man. It's weird how finishing a small job or just getting a perfect screw on the first try can make your whole day. I've had that feeling after getting a stubborn piece of trim to fit right, and it's honestly just as satisfying as a big project coming together. Maybe it's just me but those small wins feel more real somehow because you can see the result right in front of you. It's like your brain knows you earned it, even if nobody else would notice. And yeah, that rush is real, no matter what the scale is.

Read an article that said pro drywallers average around 500 screws an hour with practice. Makes my 200 in 10 feel a little less impressive but still, I was pretty pumped about it. Did you have the bit set right so it didn't strip anything out?
