My new kitchen faucet decided to spray a perfect arc across the room
I was just tightening the last connection under the sink yesterday when it let loose, soaking me and the dog. I had to use a whole roll of paper towels to clean up the mess. Has anyone else had a simple install turn into a water show?

Ugh, that's the worst. Always seems to happen when you're almost done and feeling confident. My advice is to keep a big towel and a bucket handy for any plumbing job, no matter how small. Saves you from the paper towel scramble.

You're right about the towel and bucket. I read that even pros leave the water off and open a faucet to drain the lines before the final hookup.
