That cheap caulk gun I bought at a dollar store actually held up through a whole bathroom remodel
I figured it'd break after one squeeze but it lasted through sealing the tub, two windows, and the baseboards in my guest bathroom without even leaking.

My dad always said cheap tools work great until they don't, and it's like random luck whether you get one that lasts or one that breaks on the first squeeze.

Man, that's EXACTLY it - it's a total crap shoot every time you grab one off the shelf.
