Walked into a Habitat ReStore near Denver and saw something wild

Honestly I went to the Habitat ReStore last weekend looking for a cheap door for my workshop. But I spent like 45 minutes just walking around because the place had a whole section of old cedar fence boards for like 50 cents each. Someone had already stacked them by size which was super helpful. I grabbed about 30 boards for maybe 15 bucks total. Gonna use them for some planter boxes and a little bench for the front porch. Has anyone else found good lumber deals at a ReStore near them?

@viola_ward that cedar board deal was a total steal, I still can't believe I found them lol. I've also grabbed a random weird door from ReStore before, it sat in my garage for months until I turned it into a tabletop for a workbench. Those places are gold mines if you have the patience to dig around.

Ngl I used to think ReStore was just for people trying to flip houses or whatever. But after grabbing some leftover deck boards there for like nothing last month, I'm fully converted. It's basically a treasure hunt with better prices than Home Depot.

My last ReStore trip I walked in for paint rollers and walked out with a weird old door that I still haven't figured out what to do with. It's just leaning against my garage wall now, a monument to my terrible impulse control. Also grabbed a bag of mismatched cabinet knobs that I'll probably never use. Cedar fence boards for 50 cents each is a crazy good deal, you should post a picture of those planter boxes when they're done so I can live vicariously through your actual productivity.
