Can we talk about the time I realized my leader lines were a mess?
A senior checker at my old firm in Boise circled a dozen of my callouts and wrote 'chaos' in red pencil on the sheet. Has anyone else had a simple habit they didn't know was wrong until someone pointed it out?

That red pencil "chaos" note is brutal but probably effective. I read a blog post from a drafting manager who said messy leader lines are the number one thing that makes checkers angry, even more than wrong dimensions. It slows down checking by a huge amount because they have to trace every line. @ivan_mason, those "fix this" stamps are the same idea, just a louder version of the red pencil. The checker isn't being mean, they just need to read the drawing fast without getting lost. Did you start using a stricter grid or template after that?

Man, my buddy once got a print back covered in red 'fix this' stamps.

Actually, he said it was a "fix it" stamp, not "fix this." Small difference, but the "it" feels more pointed somehow. Like the drawing itself is the problem child.
