My old boss in Phoenix said to always triple-check the scale factor before printing a big sheet

I blew it off once and sent a whole set of foundation plans out at 1:50 instead of 1:20. The contractor called me laughing, asking if we were building a dollhouse. Anyone else ever have a scale disaster that made you look silly?

Feel your pain on a spiritual level. I once sent a site plan to the city where the north arrow was the size of a dinner plate. It's the kind of mistake that haunts you forever.

My old boss submitted a permit set with the client's home address listed as the project site. The city inspector showed up at this family's house looking for a new commercial building. Took three weeks of angry calls to sort that one out. I still get second hand shame thinking about the confusion. Those little oversights really do stick with you forever.

Building a dollhouse" sounds like a pretty good outcome, honestly.
