PSA: That $80 drafting brush I bought on a whim saved a huge project

I was working on a really detailed site plan for a new park in Springfield and kept smudging the pencil lines with my hand. I grabbed a Alvin 5010 brush online and it made a huge difference keeping the vellum clean. Has anyone found other small tools that turned out to be a big help?

Remember those little metal pencil extenders from art class. I keep one in my drafting kit for when pencils get too short to hold comfortably. It sounds silly but hand cramps on long projects are no joke. Saved my wrist during a full set of construction drawings last month.
