Switched from manual drafting to AutoCAD for our site plans and now I actually finish before 5pm
Spent 4 hours on a single retaining wall detail by hand last week before my coworker showed me how to set up block references in CAD and I redid it in 20 minutes, has anyone else found that learning the shortcuts is the real game changer?

Four hours is a lot, sure, but is it really that insane? @jade_johnson, you've never spent a whole afternoon hyperfixating on getting the exact right shade of something? Sometimes that one detail is the make-or-break for the whole project, especially if it's a focal point. Might be a bit extra, but if it ended up looking perfect, then the time was probably worth it.
