The week we had to redraw 80 sheets because of a decimal point in the wrong spot

Our lead engineer's spec sheet had a typo, and nobody caught it until the entire foundation package was plotted. Anyone else ever had a QC fail cascade through a whole project like that?

Classic, that's a new level of oops.

New level of oops" really makes me wonder what actually happened. Like, was it a simple mistake that just kept getting worse? I'm picturing someone trying to fix one small thing and causing a huge mess. The scale of the disaster is the interesting part. What do you think pushes an oops into that new level category?
