Update: My section views went from a mess to clean in about a month

I stopped letting the software auto-generate everything and started manually placing every single callout and dimension. It added maybe 15 minutes per sheet, but the clarity for the fabricators is night and day. Anyone else force themselves to do the tedious manual work for a better final product?

Totally worth the extra time. Clean drawings save way more headaches down the line than those 15 minutes ever cost. The fabricators will love you for it.

What's the worst drawing mess you've seen from rushing?

Oh man, you are so right! I've seen what happens when people rush drawings and it's never pretty. The time you spend fixing one unclear line later is way more than just doing it right the first time. It really does make everything go smoother for the people actually building the thing. So worth that little bit of extra care up front!
