That time a 4-inch suction line clogged solid on the Cooper River job
We were pulling up a lot of old timber and clay near Charleston, and the pump pressure spiked from 80 psi to over 120 in about ten seconds. I shut it down fast, but the whole line was packed. My partner wanted to try and backflush it with the pressure washer, but I figured we'd have to disconnect and rod it out manually. We spent three hours pulling sections apart in the mud. Has anyone found a better trick for a sudden, total blockage like that?

Pressure washer on a packed solid line? That's asking for a burst hose or a fitting to blow back. Sometimes the slow, dirty way is just the safe way.

Three hours pulling sections apart in the mud" sounds like the universe's way of saying you should have tried the pressure washer first.
