Bought a $300 auto-taper and it paid for itself in 2 jobs
I was on the fence for months but finally grabbed one from Home Depot after a buddy swore by his. Anyone else find these things worth the splurge or just a fancy paperweight?

Bought mine a few months back and the first time I used it the tape got all twisted up and took me 10 minutes to untangle. Works great now though, just had to learn the trick to feeding it right.

Ngl @gavin692, I think that's just you not being careful enough - mine worked perfect right out of the box with zero issues. Maybe you got a dud or just need to slow down when you're feeding it.
