Finally got a clean finish on a vaulted ceiling with my old pole sander

I was doing a repair on a 12-foot sloped ceiling and decided to try a trick I saw online, wrapping the sanding screen over a foam pad first. It cut my sanding time in half and left zero swirl marks. What's your go-to method for high ceilings?

That foam pad trick is a game changer for real. Seen the paint roller move too, like @olivia857 said. Used a microfiber pad on a roller frame once for a knockdown texture patch. Got into all the nooks without tearing it up. Makes a huge difference when you can't get a scaffold in there.

My cousin in Denver swears by taping sandpaper to a paint roller for those high spots lol.

It's cool how people always find smarter ways to do hard jobs. You see it with stuff like this sanding trick, or even just a better way to load a dishwasher. Necessity really does push folks to get clever.
