Hit 2000 square feet of drywall hung in a single day last Thursday and some folks say that's impossible without a crew of four

I did it solo with a lift and a good mud runner backing me up, but now I'm wondering if I just got lucky or if that's actually doable for any experienced installer, so has anyone else here cracked that number by yourself?

Gotta call you out gently here @dakota_patel98, saying that 80 covers solo is no joke and requires way more rhythm than hanging drywall. The difference is you can't just stop and think with a full dining room waiting, but with drywall you can take a breath and reposition the lift. Still, hitting 2000 solo is a solid brag and anyone who says it's impossible probably ain't running a proper mud runner setup like you had.

Solo 2000 in a day is one of those numbers that sounds crazy until you actually see someone do it with the right setup. It's like when you watch a pro cook knock out 80 covers by themselves while the rest of us are still prepping. The whole trick is having that one person who flows perfectly with you, whether it's a mud runner or a good helper. Most people just don't realize how much time gets wasted fumbling around when you don't have your system dialed in.
