Saw a house in Phoenix where the drywall was hung upside down
Honestly, I was checking out a flip last week and noticed all the tapered edges were at the bottom instead of the top. Has anyone else run into weird installation mistakes like that on job sites?

That "drywall was hung upside down" thing is rough man, I feel for you. You think you're walking into a decent flip and then you see that kind of basic mistake, it just makes you wonder what else is hiding behind the paint. Solidarity from a fellow guy who's seen his share of weird site screwups.

Upside down drywall is unforgivable. You know the taper had to fix that mess with extra mud and tape. Makes you wonder if they even own a T-square or just eyeballed every cut.

Tried using a chalk line for layout after a buddy showed me. Saved my butt on a big basement job. Mark every stud before you hang. Then you can see exactly where your seams land. Also helps you catch bad cuts before they're screwed in. Once you get in that habit, upside down sheets don't happen.
