TIL a simple glove hack for eating clean on the job
Grab some cheap disposable gloves and keep them in your tool bag. When lunch rolls around, put on a fresh pair to handle your food without spreading drywall dust or joint compound. It stops your sandwich from getting gritty and saves you from scrubbing your hands every break. This little change made my midday meals way better during long install days.

On a remodel last month, I used cheap latex gloves from the bulk box. They tore on a sharp edge and dumped drywall mud on my burrito. Now I keep a separate pair just for eating. Do you have a preferred brand that balances cost and durability? The powder-free kind seems to leave less residue on food.

Have you ever tried the nitrile ones instead of latex? I read something a while back about nitrile being way more puncture resistant, especially against sharp stuff like drywall edges or metal burrs. I mean, they might cost a tiny bit more per glove, but if it saves your lunch, it's probably worth it. The powder-free nitrile ones don't have that weird chalky feel either. I'd grab a small box to test before you commit to a bulk buy, just to see if they work for you.
