Unpopular opinion: My cousin's rough sanding style gets the job done faster
Everyone on site says you need a smooth, even sand, but my cousin just goes at it with a coarse pad. We finish walls in half the time, and the texture hides small flaws. I used to argue with him, but now I see it works for residential jobs. Have you tried a quicker sanding method with family help?

Man, how many times have I been that guy, the one giving my buddy a hard time for skipping steps. I was so stuck-up about the "right way" to do things. Then we had a huge basement to finish and his fast, rough sand made the whole job move. It's a clever fix for places where perfect just does not matter.
