Had a total tech meltdown right before a big presentation at the Edmonton Chamber event
I was setting up my laptop at the Shaw Conference Center for a talk to about 50 local business owners. Right as I was about to start, my clicker died and the slides wouldn't advance. I had to ask a guy in the front row to borrow his laptop cable so I could plug in and manually click through. It was super awkward for the first few minutes. Anyone else had a tech fail at a networking event and how did you save face?

My laptop once died mid-sentence.

My old laptop used to do that all the time, especially when the battery meter was wrong. It would show 20% left and then just go black. Learned to save every few minutes because of it.
