Why I trace every circuit, no exceptions

I almost got zapped by a wire I assumed was off (a dumb mistake). Now I always break out my circuit tracer first, and it's kept me safe. How many of you do the same, or am I just being too careful?

Good call tracing every time. That kind of near miss is seriously scary. Better to be too careful than not careful enough.

You trusted a wire was off without checking? That's TERRIFYING to think about. A simple assumption could lead to a hospital trip. Always trace, no exceptions.
