Realized the difference between using a drill and a hand ratchet on rail brackets
Spent half an hour fighting a stuck bolt with a hand ratchet on the 14th floor, swapped to my Milwaukee M18 and had it done in 3 minutes flat, has anyone else found drills beat hand tools for almost anything on the car?

Man, I feel this SO hard. I once spent a solid 45 minutes with a hand ratchet on a single bolt under my sink, getting all red in the face and bruised knuckles. Finally my neighbor came over, took one look, and handed me his cordless drill. It was off in about four seconds. I felt like an absolute TOOL for not just walking to the hardware store to buy one sooner. Now I just laugh at my younger self who thought manual was the way to go for everything.

Drills are a total game changer for sure. Ratchets have their place but not for speed. You just can't beat the torque of a good impact driver on those rusty bolts. Whole different world once you switch over.

Buddy of mine spent a whole afternoon wrestling with a ratchet on a seized truck bolt before he finally grabbed his impact driver. That thing zipped it right off in like two seconds, felt pretty dumb for not grabbing it sooner.
