My LinkedIn connections just hit 500 and I realized I actually know maybe 50 of them.
It happened after I started saying yes to every coffee chat request for a year. Anyone else feel like their network is mostly just a number now?

Started with a clear goal for each chat, like learning about one specific project or skill. Kept notes on my phone after each one to remember key points and follow up items. Focused on listening more than talking, which helped build real connections. That turned a big number into actual, useful conversations instead of just a checklist.
