That $50 monthly coworking membership in Denver changed my whole networking game

I used to think paying for networking events was a waste, but after 3 weeks of just showing up to the same shared space and chatting with other regulars before my morning coffee, I landed two referrals that paid for the whole year in one month, so has anyone else found a specific spot that just clicks for building real connections?

So you're telling me I could have just paid $50 a month to sit in a room and talk to people instead of awkwardly handing out business cards at 8am mixers where nobody remembers your name? Sounds like a scam that actually works. But for real, have you checked if that Denver spot has decent coffee or is it the burnt dishwater kind that makes you question your life choices? I guess the real question is whether the referrals are worth the forced small talk about the weather and people's side hustles. At least you got paid back fast, so it's not like you're stuck sipping bad coffee forever.

Used to think coworking spaces were just overpriced coffee shops but this place in Austin changed my mind. The regulars actually talk to each other instead of staring at screens, and I got a solid lead just from asking someone about their laptop setup. Three months in and I've built a little crew of people who actually follow up on stuff we talk about.

I was skeptical too, but that sounds pretty great.
