Vent: Figuring out how to actually follow up after a conference took me a full week
I had a stack of 50 business cards and spent days overthinking the emails before just sending a simple 'good to meet you' with one specific thing we talked about. What's your go-to method for not letting those connections go cold?

Why not just send a quick text right away instead?

Because sometimes a quick text is the problem. That "right away" pressure makes people send stuff they haven't thought through. It can come off as rude or just add to the noise. Taking a minute to actually think about your reply saves a lot of trouble later. It's not about being slow, it's about being clear.
