Had a bride tell me my facials 'didn't do anything' while I was waxing her brows
So this was about 8 months ago at a small shop I was working at in Columbus. I did three facials for this bride before her wedding, customized for her acne prone skin. She looked great on the day, but during a brow wax a month later she said straight up that my facials were a waste because she still had a few breakouts. Didn't mention the texture or glow improvement at all. Felt like crap for a week. Anyone else get clients who only notice what didn't work?

Nah I gotta disagree here @sageadams. That bride paid for results and she didn't get what she paid for. 3 facials and still breaking out? I'd be pissed too. Nobody cares about "texture improvement" when they're picking at zits two days before walking down the aisle.

People do this in every service industry. They ignore the 90% that worked and fixate on the one tiny flaw. It's like how nobody thanks the barista for a perfect latte, but they'll complain if it's lukewarm.
