Had a client bring in a picture of a celebrity from a magazine and ask for 'exactly that glow'... the picture was from 1998.

That glow is probably just the old magazine paper yellowing. Not everything needs a deep meaning.

@brian328 you're missing the point entirely though. Sometimes that yellowing glow is exactly what makes the memory feel warmer and more real than the actual haircut ever did.

Remember when people used to bring in those Sears catalog photos? I had someone point to a kid's haircut from 1987 and swear the color was "honey wheat." It was just the photo fading to orange.
