My esthetician friend in Austin showed me a hack for getting rid of milia without extracting

I was visiting her studio last weekend and she used a clean lancet to gently poke the top, then pressed a warm cotton round on it for like 30 seconds. Pushed the little keratin ball right out without any digging. Anyone else use this method or got a better way?

Lancets are fine but poking milia yourself can scar real easy.

I've done maybe 20 milia pops myself with lancets and never had a scar. The trick is going in at a really tiny angle, like almost parallel to the skin, and using a magnifying mirror so you can see the sac clearly. If you just stab straight down or squeeze too hard, yeah, that's when you get trouble.
