Watching a chain spa push 15 minute back-to-backs changed how I schedule facials

I worked a weekend shift at Hand & Stone last fall and saw them pack in clients every 15 minutes with no break. My regular facials take at least 45 minutes plus setup time, so I got real pushback when I said no to that schedule. Has anyone else had to defend your timing against a corporate template?

That 15 minute model is just asking for burnout and bad results.

Nah, @elliotm70 is spot on about this. Tried a 15 minute fix once back when I was learning the trade, ended up having to redo the whole thing the next day. That quick model sounds good on paper but it never accounts for the stuff that actually goes wrong. Real work takes the time it takes, rushing just makes more work later. Sometimes you gotta let the process breathe or you end up with a mess.
