The soup at the corner cafe took me right back to my grandma's kitchen

Oh, I love when food does that! Once I tried a meatloaf at a truck stop that was exactly like my dad's. I told the waitress, and she brought out the cook who was this big guy with a smile. We talked about how his mom taught him to use oatmeal instead of breadcrumbs, same as my dad. He gave me an extra slice on the house, and I felt so at home. Those little connections make eating out so special.
