Bamboo fabric seemed like a fad to me, not anymore

I always thought bamboo fabric was just trendy and not practical for real design. Then I made a simple shift dress with it for a friend. The material was so soft and kept its shape after washes. It also took natural dyes in a way that synthetic blends never do. Now I get why people rave about sustainable textiles. I'm planning to use it in my next capsule collection. Honestly, it opened my eyes to how good eco friendly choices can be.

Try dyeing a small swatch first to see how the color holds (it can be tricky).

Absolutely! I ruined a whole batch of fabric once by not testing first. The color turned out so weird and patchy.
