Remember when everyone started putting pockets in dresses again?
I thought it was just a gimmick until my niece, a student in Chicago, designed one where the pockets actually fit a phone. Anyone have tips for integrating functional pockets without ruining the line?

My tailor once made me bell bottoms by mistake.

Check the side seams on a dress, that's where a good tailor can hide a pocket panel. It keeps the front looking smooth but adds real function. The trick is using a thin, strong lining fabric so your phone doesn't pull the shape out.
