Shoutout to my friend's kid who called my designs 'boring grown-up clothes'
She said, 'Why don't you put a pocket for a frog on it?' and now I'm sketching a whole line with weird, fun pockets. Anyone ever get a totally random idea that just clicked?

Okay but the "weird, fun pockets" idea is actually genius. I used to be so stuck on making stuff look clean and minimal. That kid asking for a frog pocket just broke my brain in the best way. It made me realize clothes should be fun and have little secrets. Now I'm looking at all my old designs thinking they're missing the point.
