Unpopular opinion: chain prints on dog coats look terrible

I was trimming a schnauzer last week and the owner brought in a coat with this giant gold chain pattern, and I couldn't stop thinking how tacky it looked against the dog's silver fur. Has anyone else seen fashion prints that just don't work on actual animals?

And @river320 gets it exactly right, it's like they're trying to turn a mink coat into a hoodie from the mall. I swear I saw one last winter that had this gold chain print all over it and it looked like someone spilled a bag of coins on a bear rug and just left it there. Honestly why would anyone buy real fur just to cover it with a print that screams clearance rack at Hot Topic? It's like putting a bumper sticker on a Bentley if you ask me, just let the fur be fur and call it a day.

Gotta back you up on that. It's like they're trying to force some trendy fashion look onto real fur and it just clashes hard. The fake stuff can pull it off sometimes but real fur needs to be left alone.
