Hot take: I was setting my post hole digger handles wrong for 8 years
A guy I was helping in Spokane asked why I didn't flip the handles up so the dirt falls clear, and it clicked. Anyone else have a basic tool trick they missed forever?

Read a whole article about that exact thing last year. @hunt.nora has the right idea, watching someone else first saves a lot of trouble.

But what if you're the first one there, lol. Seen too many people jump in and mess things up because they didn't know the little tricks. It's like there's always a hidden step nobody tells you about until you watch it done.
