PSA: I thought those post hole digger attachments for skid steers were just a gimmick
Had a job last month in Springfield with 80 posts to set in heavy clay. My partner brought his Bobcat with a Danuser digger head. I figured it was overkill and we'd be fixing it all day. We finished the holes in under four hours with perfect, clean sides. Has anyone else switched to using one regularly, or do you still stick with the two-man auger?

How much did that setup run you? Sounds like it paid for itself on that one job, honestly. I'm still stuck with the old two-man fight club.

Ever think that old way was just part of the job? I did too, until my knees started talking. Now I see it as a tax you pay with your body.

The whole rig was about twelve hundred bucks, which felt crazy at the time. But logan236, you're right, that one basement job covered it and then some. My back thanks me every day for not doing the two-man carry up those stairs anymore. Honestly, the old fight club method just costs you in pain and time, even if the wallet feels okay upfront. Making the jump was the best gear choice I ever made.
