My inspection guy found a crack in the foundation I totally missed

I almost skipped the full home inspection to save money, but my realtor pushed me to get one. The inspector, Mike from SafeHome Check, found a major foundation crack that would have cost me over $10,000 to fix later. I paid $450 for the inspection and it saved me from buying a money pit. Has anyone else had an inspection find something that made you walk away?

My guy found a crack so big in the basement wall you could fit a pencil in it. Honestly, I was ready to sign until he showed me the water damage and the termite tubes right next to it. Felt like a total idiot for loving the kitchen backsplash so much. That house was basically a fancy cardboard box.
