Stood in a townhouse for 20 minutes waiting for the realtor to show up
Was at an open house in Denver last Saturday and the listing agent walked in 15 minutes late without apologizing, just handed me a flyer and said "take your time." Has anyone else had an agent that makes you feel like you're the one bothering them?

oh my friend had this exact thing happen in Austin last month. she booked a showing for a cute little bungalow and the agent just never showed up, like at all. she waited 25 minutes in the heat, called twice, and the guy finally picked up and said "oh i thought that was tomorrow" like it was no big deal. then he had the nerve to ask if she could come back the next day. she said no. i mean come on, if you're gonna waste someone's time like that you at least owe them an apology and maybe a coffee gift card or something.

Yeah that agent really dropped the ball @williams.jenny. Leaving someone waiting in the Austin heat for 25 minutes then acting like it's nothing is just rude. A simple "my bad" and a coffee card would have been the bare minimum after that. Honestly that kind of carelessness makes you wonder how they handle the rest of their job.

and honestly that's why i started calling the office 10 minutes before any showing to confirm the agent is actually on their way. saved me so many times from standing around like an idiot. had one agent last year who was 20 minutes late and tried to blame it on traffic but like... you knew what time the showing was supposed to be, plan ahead. if they can't respect your time for the first meeting, that's a huge red flag for the whole home buying process. next time just leave after 10 minutes and email their broker about it, that usually gets results way faster than calling the agent again.
