At a wedding in Savannah, the bride asked me to skip the baby's breath.

She said it looked cheap and dusty, which really made me think about using it as a filler in every arrangement. Now I mostly use seeded eucalyptus or waxflower instead, unless someone asks for it. Do you still use baby's breath a lot, or have you moved on too?

That bride in Savannah has a point about it looking dusty. My aunt used baby's breath in everything for years, her whole house smelled like a dried-up field. She finally switched to using herbs from her garden, like rosemary sprigs, which smelled way better. It made her arrangements feel more fresh and less like a 90s prom corsage. Funny how one person's opinion can make you see something totally different.

Actually, baby's breath doesn't smell like much at all when it's fresh, @terryk10. That dusty smell is just what happens when it dries out.
