Came back to a wedding bouquet I made 3 days ago and it looked completely different than what I handed the bride

Wow, 3 days is a long time for flowers to sit without proper care. Are you sure the bride didn't just leave them in a hot car or forget to put water in the vase? Flowers change fast when they're not handled right, and that's not really your fault once you hand them over. Maybe she should've kept them in a cool spot or asked for basic care instructions before the wedding.

Right? Flowers don't wilt overnight unless they were cooked.

That flowers change fast when they're not handled right" really hits the nail on the head. I had a friend who did wedding flowers on the side, and she handed off a beautiful bouquet to a bride who swore she'd put it in water right away. Well, the bride got busy with photos and the reception, and the flowers sat in a hot car for hours. By the next morning, they were droopy and brown on the edges. My friend felt awful, but it was really just the heat and no water that did it. Sometimes folks don't realize how fragile flowers are once they're out of the cooler.
