Had a wedding bouquet completely wilt on me 2 hours before the ceremony in Charleston. The hydrangeas just gave up. Had to improvise with whatever was fresh in the cooler.

Oh man, that Charleston humidity is no joke. My friend's florist had a similar meltdown with peonies that just turned to mush in the heat. She ended up grabbing a bunch of greenery from the venue's own garden and some sturdy roses from the grocery store floral section. It actually looked really wild and pretty, way better than the sad, planned one. Sometimes the panic fix turns out to be the best part.
