TIL my niece's lemonade stand funds her flower garden

My ten year old niece set up a lemonade stand to buy seeds for her backyard plot. Now she sells little bouquets from what she grows, and it's teaching her about costs and care. I helped her set up a simple system to track what sells best. It's been a cool way to mix family time with the trade. Anyone have stories about kids or relatives getting into flowers?

Ever notice how kids pay more attention to the feel of things, like prickly stems next to soft petals? That sensory detail gets lost when we just talk price.

You know what's funny? I'm so out of touch I'd probably just lean on the prickly stem and complain about my shirt snagging.

Kids find happiness in texture, not tags.
