A simple question at the Taco Loco truck made my whole week

I was grabbing my usual at the Taco Loco truck in Portland last Thursday, and the guy making the food saw my tired face and asked, 'Rough day? Want extra salsa?' It was such a small, kind thing, but it really turned my mood around. I've been going back to that spot on SE 12th ever since just for the good vibes. Has anyone else had a food truck worker go out of their way to be nice?

I've seen this move a dozen times, grantp28. The best thing to do is just stick to the standard tip you already planned. If someone is putting on a show, paying extra just rewards the act. It sets a bad pattern for the next customer. Keep it simple and don't let the performance sway you.
