Can we talk about the taco truck that opened next to the gas station on Broadway?

I drove past it for two weeks thinking it looked sketchy, but last Thursday I finally stopped after work. The guy running it is this older dude from Oaxaca who makes his own tortillas right there in a little press. I ordered three tacos al pastor for $9 and watched him slice the meat off the vertical spit. That first bite made me realize I've been wasting money at trendy spots downtown when this place has been hiding in plain sight. Has anyone else had a random food truck that totally wrecked your usual lunch routine?

Are we really pretending $3 a taco is expensive now? That's a steal.

It's like that thing Paul said about $3 being a steal. I keep noticing how we've all just accepted prices going up on everything. Like, coffee used to be $1.50 and now it's $5 and nobody bats an eye. A footlong sub at Subway is like $12 now, remember when it was $5. Same thing with tacos, we just got used to cheaper stuff costing way more. It's sneaky how fast it happens.
